Company History
Paessler was founded in 1997 by CEO Dirk Paessler with a vision to develop cost effective software that is both powerful AND easy to use. Since then the company has required no financial backing or assistance and is still privately owned.
All our products were initially developed from our own need for a simple and cost effective solution for some particular problem that we were unable to find a suitable solution for that met our budget. So we programmed software we always wanted to have for ourselves. This process makes sure that our products deliver power right on target!
Where We Are Today
We are developing, marketing, selling, and supporting network software very successfully. More than 50.000 software licenses have been sold to date and more than 150.000 installations are active worldwide (including the freeware products).
Our customers come from all sizes of companies and organizations, from SOHOs, SMEs as well as large enterprises, e.g. over 70% of the Fortune 100 companies already use our products. Also many government organizations and universities have chosen Paessler products in the past.
We believe that good quality software should make complicated issues easy to understand and should make processes simpler, easier, and more efficient for the user. Our commitment to deliver great software has clearly been appreciated by the outside world.
